About Belle Chapel

Built in 1885 as home to the United Methodist Church, Belle Chapel has held many more life events than church services and weddings. A carefully preserved part of Snohomish’s history, Belle Chapel welcomes all guests to host the event of their dreams.
With over 135 years of foundation set before you, Belle Chapel has stood strong as a symbol of the stability marriage should be. While many wedding venues do well to support the moment of your wedding, Belle Chapel believes in a marriage that you can enjoy for your lifetime. After the wedding day, it is so much more than a moment.

Become a part of our history by carving your initials or wedding date into the trunk of an old-time red oak tree stump in the center of our Secret Garden.

What You Will See

It feels like you step back in time when you enter the elegantly designed chapel constructed over 135 years ago. The original hand-carved truss work of the cathedral ceiling, constructed from old-growth cedar, is a classic design of elegance at Belle Chapel, allowing you to experience the timelessness of this historic venue.
Two private dressing rooms are beautifully decorated and conveniently located behind the altar. These exquisite settings offer an air of distinction and a touch of warmth and elegance while preparing for the ceremony. They are an excellent backdrop for classic getting ready photos taken by your favorite photographer.
The elegant atmosphere of the private ballroom is perfect for your reception and can be decorated to your preference before the wedding begins. This helps make your day run smoothly with effortless transitions from wedding to reception! Crystal chandeliers, wall sconces, and white accent lights throughout the room lend an atmosphere of sophistication and romance to your special celebration.
The private ballroom is joined to the garden and patio through French doors that remain open on perfect PNW days. Belle Chapel's Secret Garden is bordered by beautiful landscaping that allows for extra celebration space on sunny days.
The exquisite ballroom and garden areas, combined with our one-of-a-kind historic chapel, makes this landmark location a hidden treasure.

Make The Event Yours

Colorful silk flower arrangements, white wooden and mahogany pillars along with an extensive variety of other items fill our decoration room and are available to assist in making your dream wedding a memorable event! Also available is a wrought iron arch that can be decorated with a crystal chandelier and a variety of other items in the décor room. The arch can also be used without added décor for a simple and classic look. All of these items, and more, are complimentary, no additional charge! These décor items will be ready per your request when you arrive on the day of your event.
The beautifully decorated raised altar plays host to a 1938 parlor grand piano and is available for the pianist of your choice. Live musicians are also welcome and have ample room for their ceremony performance.
A sound system equipped to plug and play music from your personal device is available. WIFI is available with excellent download and upload speeds, dependent on service provider’s dependability
